Terms & Condition

Agreement & Terms

​

Respect for space

You will leave the room as you found it—clean, tidy, and undamaged. A cleaning fee may be charged if extra cleaning is required.

Key return

If you have been assigned a key, it must be returned within 7 days of your booking.

Timekeeping

You will stick to your booked hours. Overtime may incur additional charges.

Noise and behaviour

You will ensure your guests behave respectfully and noise is kept to a reasonable level.

Supervision

Children must be supervised at all times. Nest is not responsible for any accidents during your booking.

Damage deposit

The damage deposit covers cleaning and minor wear. Any significant damage to the studio space, fixtures, or contents will be assessed and charged accordingly.

Insurance

If hiring as a business, you confirm you have the necessary public liability insurance.

Food and drink

External catering is allowed, but all waste must be removed after the event.

Safety

You will familiarise yourself with fire exits and keep them clear at all times.

Cancellation Policy

More than 90 days’ notice: full refund available
60–90 days’ notice: 50% refund available
30–60 days’ notice: 25% refund available
Less than 30 days’ notice: no refund available

Liability Waiver

By signing this document, I acknowledge that I am hiring Nest for the purpose of a private event and assume full responsibility for the safety and supervision of all guests attending.

 

I understand that while Nest is a child- and family-friendly venue, it is not a staffed or supervised space during private hire.

 

I agree to take full responsibility for all attendees, including their actions and safety.

 

I accept full liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that may occur during the hire period.

 

I agree that Nest, its directors, staff, or agents are not liable for any accidents, incidents, or injuries that occur during my event.

Health & Safety Declaration

To ensure the safety of all guests during the event, I agree to the following:

  • Children will be supervised at all times by responsible adults.

  • I will not exceed the venue’s maximum occupancy limit.

  • I will make myself aware of fire exits and emergency procedures.

  • I will ensure no exits or access routes are blocked.

  • If equipment (e.g. bouncy castles, entertainment) is used:

It will be age-appropriate and used safely.
It will be supervised at all times.
It complies with relevant health & safety regulations (e.g. PIPA certified if inflatable).

  • I will report any accidents, breakages, or hazards to Nest immediately.

  • I will leave the venue clean and dispose of all rubbish properly.

General Agreement

  • I agree to respect Nest as a shared community space.

  • I will ensure guests behave responsibly.

  • I accept that any damage caused by myself, my guests, or hired providers may result in additional charges.

  • I confirm I have read and understood the full terms of hire provided by Nest and agree to comply with them.
