Social Impact at Nest

Expanding access to care, movement and community.

At Nest, we’re committed to creating spaces where every mother and family feels nurtured, seen and supported. But we also recognise that traditional wellness spaces aren’t accessible to all — and we want to change that.

Our social impact work is rooted in this belief:

Wellbeing should be a right, not a luxury.

Current Initiative: Pay What You Can Yoga with The Change Collective

We partnered with The Change Collective, co-founded by Ruth Lamb and Eilidh Lamb, to offer a free 5-week yoga course for mothers and families who may not usually be able to access regular classes.

The Change Collective works with charities and grassroots groups across Glasgow to bring yoga and wellbeing practices to those often excluded from traditional wellness spaces — including families living in poverty, refugee communities, and parents facing social isolation.

These sessions are gentle, trauma-aware and welcoming to all. Babies (pre-crawlers) are welcome too.

We believe this work matters deeply. When mothers are supported, whole communities thrive.

In Partnership with The Change Collective

We’re proud to be working with The Change Collective, co-founded by Ruth Lamb and Eilidh Lamb, on a funded yoga pilot for mothers and families in Glasgow.

The Change Collective collaborates with charities and grassroots groups to offer yoga and wellbeing opportunities to communities that are often underrepresented in wellness spaces — including low-income families, refugee and migrant communities, and isolated parents.

These sessions are trauma-informed, pre- and postnatal friendly, and open to parents with pre-crawling babies.
They’re completely free, thanks to funding and volunteer support.

Why It Matters

Movement and connection are more than just nice-to-haves — they’re foundational for maternal health, confidence, and resilience.

We’ve seen again and again how regular classes can:

  • Support physical and mental wellbeing

  • Reduce loneliness and isolation

  • Rebuild confidence and self-trust

  • Create lasting friendships and support networks

This pilot aims to offer that same experience to families who might not otherwise have the chance.
